Majority leader Aden Duale on Wednesday morning convened a breakfast meeting discuss issues affecting muslim community in the country.
Among the officials present included officials from
The Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM),National muslim leaders forum(NAMLEF)and part of Muslim members of Parliament among others.
The meeting discussed the strategies on the war against extremism and radicalisation which was taking toll on many youths across the country.
“We agreed to develop a strong working relationship and enhance the representation of the Ummah,”noted Duale.
Duale urged those in attendance to offer full supporting to the Government and President Uhuru Kenyatta in his effort to unify and reconcile the nation.
Other matters discussed include the filing of a constitutional interpretation of wearing Hijab among Muslims students.
