President Uhuru Kenyatta spent almost three hours at his Deputy William Ruto’s Harambee Annex office in Nairobi.
The President convoy sneaked into his Deputies office as the two leaders held talks while media awaited outside the gates
Some minutes after 2am the President convoy was seen leaving toward state house without speaking to the media
Hundreds of Kenyans camped outside the office hoping the two leaders will address them.
The rare visit by the President comes amid speculation that a rift has developed between the two leaders.
Its believed the two had lunch together as they discussed the future of Jubilee Party which pundits claims its on the blink
It is a very rare occurrence for Uhuru to visit Ruto at either his Harambe Annex or official residence in Karen.
The visit comes at a time when Jubilee MPs have demanded that Uhuru meets them to discuss the growing rifts within the ruling party.

Earlier,President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House Nairobi, witnessed the swearing-in of the new Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Albert Omore Magoha and the new Commissioner General of the Kenya Prisons Service Mr. Wycliffe Ogalo.
He later proceeded to the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC) where he opened the 12th session of the International Coffee Council taking place in Nairobi.
It’s from KICC that the President ended visiting the Deputy offices a stone throw away.
Speculations are now rife whether the heat being generated between the two allies will cool down after the visit
