A man who was found liable of slaughtering a sweetheart by a Kitale court has been condemned to 25 years in jail.
The court heard that Samson Kamau Njoroge killed Alice Wangui Kamau and dumped her body in a borehole in his compound the evening of May 9 and 10, 2012 at Naisambu region to dodge her requests for kid upkeep.
On the critical night, Mr. Kamau had gone to a court situation where the expired needed him to be constrained to deal with a child conceived in 2008 because of their mystery relationship.
The perished disappeared on that night whereupon she sent misery calls to her family showing that she had been abducted and was being assaulted more than once inciting a pursuit by police.
In her declaration, Wangui’s aunt Eunice Wairimu told the court that the expired had sent her a content on her telephone saying she had been abducted and was being assaulted by the criminal who had tied her.
Mr. Kamau’s house cleaner Veronica Njeri told the court that his boss didn’t go through the night at home on the decisive day just to show up before the expected time toward the beginning of the day whereupon he sent her to the shop.
“When I returned I discovered him washing garments which he never did in my two years remain at the estate. He later washed his vehicle and left for work without his vehicle similar to his standard,” said Ms Njeri.
Njeri further told the court that cops later went to the estate looking for his boss and when she told the spouse, she requested that her call the husband and illuminate her regarding the advancement.
“His better half and I later wound up inquisitive when we understood the borehole at the compound had another latch. He was later captured on the night just to return with police in the first part of the day where the body was recovered from the borehole,” said Ms Njeri.
Yet, with all due respect, Kamau precluded the slaughtering from securing the sweetheart and told police that he couldn’t spend at home since he was tanked and couldn’t drive.
Equity Hillary Chemitei in his decision anyway said conditional proof postponed under the watchful eye of court had connected Mr. Kamau to the homicide of Wangui since the expired’s body was recovered in his compound’s borehole and his vehicle had blood recolors and hit him with 25 years in jail.
