Sports Permanent Secretary Kirimi Kaberia has dismissed FKF Nick Mwendwa over what he termed as gluttonous hunger for money by the football federation boss
The Ps in a statement said the FKF chairman has been demanding for funds without first accounting for the money previously allocated to the football federation by the Government.

Mr Kaberia noted that Mwendwa has been making unnecessary noises across media stations against the Ministry
He warned that numerous accusations against him by Mwendwa will not amount to nothing until he is accounts to the Kenyans on how he is spending taxpayers money.
” No amount of noise will shift the demand for full disclosure,” added the PS.
Kaberia said the recent handling of the two National football teams has been wanting and no form of blackmail by the federation will prevail the Ministry to release funds.
“Why are you asking for Sh 4 million plus for accommodation, then why do you allow them to travel if you are not provided for,” he noted.
The PS warned that all the loopholes used to steal money meant for athletes by corrupt sports officials have been sealed by the Government
“It used to be a allowances now the money goes direct to the athletes then you made it about tickets and that too was solved, now you have moved to accommodation, even that hole will be sealed,”the PS warned Mwendwa
